  • On October 26, 2026, I began a 20-month project to grow MyClinic, a service operated by Mediround, into a business worth KRW 10 billion and sell it. My target date is June 26, 2028.
  • MyClinic helps international customers access healthcare in Korea. I want to develop it into a content-driven commerce service where customers can find the information they need, choose suitable healthcare services, and move on to consultations and bookings.
  • I want to keep my destination clear while adapting my methods based on the results I actually see.
  • When I say I want to pursue this goal with greater determination, I do not mean sacrificing sleep and working longer hours at all costs. I mean using my limited energy where it matters and building that energy by looking after my physical and mental health.

October 26, 2026 — A Record of the Beginning

1. Defining the Future I Want

On October 26, 2026, I began a 20-month project to grow MyClinic, a service operated by Mediround, into a business worth KRW 10 billion and sell it. My target date is June 26, 2028.

Running a business, I have spent much of my time dealing with whatever was immediately in front of me. I got through one urgent problem, moved on to the next task, and kept going day by day. I worked hard, but I began to wonder what I would eventually be able to say I had lived for.

Now I want to define the future I want clearly and spend each day working toward it. I need a reference point for deciding where I should be each month, what I should do this week, and where to direct my energy today.

2. Building a Service That Can Be Sold for KRW 10 Billion

The path I have chosen is to make MyClinic a valuable service and sell it for KRW 10 billion. That figure is my target sale price. It also represents my ambition to build a business that is useful enough for someone to recognize its value and want to acquire it.

MyClinic helps international customers access healthcare in Korea. I want to develop it into a content-driven commerce service where customers can find the information they need, choose suitable healthcare services, and move on to consultations and bookings.

The service needs to help customers and generate a profit for the company. That profit should support the business and allow me to earn a proper salary as its CEO. I want to build a structure that keeps the service running without requiring me to step into every task personally. That is the kind of business I want to focus on building.

3. Preparing for Today with My Future Self in Mind

Sometimes I tell myself, “I have already earned KRW 10 billion.” This is an affirmation: a way of picturing the person I want to become and asking what decisions and attitudes that person would choose today.

I do not want to simply wait for that future to arrive on its own. I want to prepare so that my present choices, habits, and abilities can support it. I see these 20 months as 20 individual months to work through, one at a time.

An airplane does not simply fly in a straight line to its destination regardless of the circumstances. It follows a route, adjusts its speed, and changes direction when necessary. I want to keep my destination clear while adapting my methods based on the results I actually see.

4. Looking After My Health as the Company Grows

When I say I want to pursue this goal with greater determination, I do not mean sacrificing sleep and working longer hours at all costs. I mean using my limited energy where it matters and building that energy by looking after my physical and mental health.

That is why my routine begins the night before, with preparing for enough sleep. In the morning, I want to wake up my body, think of something I am grateful for, and review what I need to do that day. I do not follow this perfectly every day yet. Building a way of life that I can sustain is also part of this project.

Through many difficulties, I have come to think more seriously about how I want to live from here on. I want to be grateful that this reflection has helped me find a goal I want to pursue and a way to work toward it.
